Eureka
This is for the girl who died today.
The girl who may or may not have survived this night.
When a person leaves, everything that is left behind becomes memorialized.
Name, identification, diplomas, photos etc.
What is lost is somehow found through the memories.
It is both a blessing and a curse to travel back in time to remember.
And it is so much easier to get stuck in the comforts of the past.
Somehow, this girl lost herself in the depths of it all.
This girl is a walking diary filled with untold stories.
Yet no one truly knew the exact words to define her.
She existed in the blurred lines of date, time and space;
In between the extremes of too much and not good enough.
She took pleasure in pain, found peace in chaos.
A paradoxical mix of ironies and contradiction.
She may or may not have survived this night.
But one thing is for sure: everything mattered to her.
So much actually that she forgot her own shine that she kept giving everyone else.
But this is for the girl who died today.
The girl who seek solace in finding the rainbow after the storm.
Even if it tried to drown her over and over again.
She didn't give up on anyone; even herself.
She remained true.
She lived.
She fought through.
She continued on.
This girl, she found her peace.
